In the footer of our current website, you may have noticed we explained what makes someone a GOATs and a PROs. Here that text is again
To be the Greatest Of All Time, you need to know the industry, in and out. To be a Professional, you need a clear head on your shoulders.
To achieve that, our founding team has created "Our Three R's." As literary nerds, we couldn't help but pick a great alliteration to help not only us, but our Tribe (our community) of GOATs and PROs remember.
Resourceful
The gaming industry has an air of mystery and all kinds of weird barriers to it. Information is not normally easily found either! G&P seeks to help bring all of our knowledge of great resources, organizations, and other helpful databases into one place. Resourceful is the infrastructure component we are hoping to build within gaming.
Resilience
The gaming industry can be fraught with difficulties and harassment --And that's not even focusing on Esports or gaming communities. Our community is here to help you find others like yourself, network, and keep a healthy head on your shoulders. Resilience is our wellness component that we are hoping to build within gaming.
Reflective
Getting a variety of voices heard is important to us at G&P because sharing information freely is foundational. We could be boring and only one or two people write articles, but who wants that? Unique voices and unique experiences make you an Expert on your life's journey-- And I'd much rather have more Experts at my table. Reflective is how we intend to share industry knowledge.
