Our Grant System
GOATs and PROs started with a mission to help shorten the burden to get applicable skills for our community members in the gaming industry. We narrowed our focus to members who were the black sheep, a.k.a. the minority and marginalized. (Disability, Gender and Sexuality, Veteran/ Military, Older Adult, BIPOC, and Religious). We aim to keep our resources at 80% or more, meeting the needs of those individuals.
Grants will not be disbursed as funds, they will be used to purchase grant items directly.

Equipment
$$- Grant covers lower-range cost equipment needed for gaming, streaming, and accessible workstations.
Grantee will list out the equipment being requested.
More Equipment
$$$$- Grant covers top-end cost equipment needed for gaming, streaming, and accessible workstations.
Grantee will list out equipment being requested.
Group Travel
$$$-$$$$ - Grant covers group travel for professional development, LAN events, and other gaming events that require IRL travel.
Sponsorships for Virtual Tournaments
$$$- Grant covers mid-range virtual event budgets. Includes entry fees for competitors and tournament budget for hosts.
Individual Travel
$$$-$$$$ - Grant covers individual travel for professional development, LAN events, and other gaming events that require IRL travel.
